Abstract

Teknologi 5G dan Over-The-Top (OTT) dalam penyiaran radio merupakan bidang yang semakin mendapat perhatian dalam kalangan akademik dan industri. Namun, pemahaman terhadap potensinya masih terhad, khususnya dalam konteks penyiaran digital di Malaysia. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti trend, cabaran, dan potensi impak teknologi ini terhadap industri penyiaran melalui kaedah Systematic Literature Review. Sebanyak lapan artikel yang diterbitkan antara 2019 sehingga 2024 dianalisis secara sistematik. Dapatan kajian mendedahkan tiga tema utama: isu teknikal pelaksanaan 5G dan OTT, cabaran struktur serta polisi pelaksanaan, dan perubahan landskap penyiaran akibat teknologi ini. Kajian ini mencadangkan agar penyelidikan bersifat tempatan dipertingkatkan bagi memahami implikasi terhadap model perniagaan, infrastruktur, dan corak penggunaan media di Malaysia. Penemuan ini diharapkan dapat membantu pembuat dasar dan pemain industri merangka strategi transformasi digital yang lebih berkesan.
